Maxx has spent a decade on nearly every side of the music business. He has run marketing campaigns, developed artists, and managed projects from first idea to release day. He has mentored artists, producers, and A&Rs on how to build careers instead of chasing moments. Outside the studio, he has managed and trained sales reps, which is where he learned the thing most creatives are never taught: how to communicate value, take a no, and turn a conversation into an opportunity. He also knows the other side of it. He was an artist who got shelved by his label, a career stalled for reasons that had nothing to do with the music. That experience is why Maxx Volume exists. A UConn graduate, Maxx has put hundreds of artists on game about the social media side of the business, the part that decides who gets discovered and who doesn't. He is also a vocal mental health advocate, and built that directly into the company, because an industry this demanding shouldn't be this quiet about the cost. Today, he is stepping back from his own artist pursuits to build this full-time. Not because the music stopped mattering, but because he would rather spend the next decade making sure the next shelved artist has somewhere to go.

Charleston, South Carolina native with over 12 years of experience—5-6 years as an instrumentalist, 5-6 as a producer, and 1-2 in the A&R field. Inspired by Porter Robinson, Daft Punk, Pharrell, The Buggles, W.E.T, Cowboy Mouth, Mike Oldfield, Ellie Goulding, Halsey, Ye, Drake, Travis Scott, Ozzy Osbourne, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, and Internet Girl. Evan's journey began with classical music and sheet music in elementary school, then production in high school under the guidance of close friends and mentors. His grandmother's battle with Alzheimer's showed him how deeply music can touch people in their hardest moments, and his late grandfather's encouragement to pursue his dreams stays with him. He's worked with TDE, Atlantic Records, and other major labels and studios—alongside Tyla Yaweh, Jay Critch, Dro Kenji, Rich the Kid, Goldenboy Countup, Bossman JD, and many more. The core of his process: always get the artist just enough out of their comfort zone to create something pure and organic.
